Fowler Wyn Neeley

As you can see, I have been busy posting pictures tonight! I was having trouble...but with the help of my computer savvy sister, Holli, I have created a blog to share fun moments with Fowler with everyone else!! I know some of you are blog-junkies, so I will try to post often! :)
Just a little bit of info on Fowler, for those of you who don't know...
Fowler was born 2/11/05. He was 8lbs 12oz and 20 3/4 inches long. His name is unique, so let me explain. "Fowler" is Dewayne's maternal grandmother's maiden name. And "Wyn" (the masculine form of "Wynette") is honoring Dewayne's sister, who passed away in September from ovarian cancer. Wynette knew we were pregnant and was excited about being an aunt for the first time. She would be very proud of him!
At Fowler's one month doctor's visit, he proved to us that he is getting enough to eat. He weighed 10lbs 6oz and was 22 3/4 inches long!! He is going to be a tall man!!
Well, I hope you all enjoy seeing the pictures of our baby Fowler! Check back often and watch him grow!

A squeaky clean Fowler! Posted by Hello

He wasn't so sure about the bath at first. But by the end of it, he calmed down (with the help of a pacifier). Posted by Hello

Fowler's umbilical cord/stump finally fell off...so, goodbye sponge bath, hello, tub time! Posted by Hello

Our first road trip...at one month! We went to visit Grandmother and Pop for the weekend. Fowler got constant attention from them...lots of singing, dancing, rocking, and just plain ole' craziness! (Can you tell who we are rooting for? Go Illini!!!) Posted by Hello

We saw this from our back porch one afternoon. Isn't this beautiful? Does this mean that God is doubling His promise to us? Hmmm. Well, anyway, we looked for the pots of gold but had no luck! Posted by Hello

We are lucky to have so many nice parks within minutes from home. Here's Daddy and son taking a stroll! We can't wait for there to be nice days more often, so we can get out of the house! Posted by Hello

I think he is going to be an intellectual! Posted by Hello

Grandmother and Pop Eadie were Fowler's first visitors in the hospital. Of course, Grandmother couldn't keep her hands off of him. And Fowler was more than content to be in her arms! Posted by Hello

Getting to hold Fowler for the first time!!  Posted by Hello

Fowler Wyn Neeley was born on 2/11/2005 @ 1:11 pm, weighing in at 8lbs 12oz and 20 3/4 inches. He was in the breech position for the last few months of the pregnancy...so he had a cesarean birh. Just an FYI, I was also breech...however, the doctor said that this is not hereditary. Posted by Hello
