A special treat...Fowler had Grandmother read his bedtime stories and say his prayers! What a fun weekend!
Here are a couple of Illini fans! Cousins and buddies. Kevin loves to touch Fowler's super soft head...he said "I just can't keep my hands off of it!" :)
We got to meet the new coach...Ron Zook! I don't have any pictures right now. But he asked Kevin if he was going to come and play for them in a few years!! :) By the way, the orange team won!
Dewayne and I went to the spring practice scrimmage with Annie & Kevin and Grace & Levi. We had lots of fun...but it was SOOOO cold!!! We actually saw snowflakes while we were sitting there in Memorial Stadium!!!
We went to visit Grandmother and Pop on the farm for the weekend. Fowler got to spend the day with Grandmother and Pop on Saturday, while Mommy and Daddy went to the Illini Football Spring Practice game. Here Fowler is trying to show off...he can now do mini-pushups!
And Shelia, the nurse!!
Miss Wise...the teacher Daddy works with...
Diane...Daddy's boss! I think Fowler likes her earrings!
Fowler went to visit Daddy at work on Friday. Of course, he got lots of attention...and he loved it! He met Miss Carrie...

Fowler played hard at the park...so, it's NAP TIME!!!
An afternoon at the park can really wear a boy out!!!
Fowler likes to "pretend stand." He has started to "stand" and put weight on his feet. He has a good ole time doing this! I think he is growing too quickly!
Living in an apartment kind of stinks...because we don't have a yard to play in. So, we take frequent trips to various parks. Today was another gorgeous day...so, we went to the park again! Fowler had a blast!
Daddy was trying to get some work done today...but Fowler wanted his attention. So, he snagged Daddy's highlighter! Aren't bright colors fun? :)
We made the hike, too! Fowler was awake and alert...until the hike back to the car. He took the opportunity to snooze in his cozy slingaroo!!
After a little bit of hiking, Dewayne made it to the point!! In the picture, the Mississppi River would flow to the left...and the Missouri River would be to the right. This is near Alton, Illinois.
This is part of a state park that we went to yesterday. This is the exact point where the Missouri River and the Mississippi River meet!
Fowler is ready for a day of fun!!! We had a family fun day yesterday...went to a state park and to Greenville for some Mario's pizza (mmm-mmm!!!)...and we ran into several friends along the way!

This is the little corner of the world in which Fowler and I spend a lot of time. It's our reading corner. Grandmother keeps reminding us to read, read, read! And Fowler really enjoys it. He loves the sound of both Daddy and Mama's voices.
Fowler had his 2-month check up yesterday. He had four shots (vaccines) in his legs! He cried only for a minute before falling asleep for a few hours...not bad!! He now weighs 12 pounds 14 1/2 ounces...and is 24 inches long. The doctor even noticed that he has tooth buds!! Wowzers!! I think he is growing up too quickly!
Fowler is getting lots of exercise with his "gym." He will lay there forever swatting and kicking at the toys! It's great entertainment for him...and for us!!!
Daddy and Fowler just hanging out at home. Isn't Fowler getting so big?? My goodness! He's a little man already!

We met our friend Carrie for lunch last week. Fowler had fun hanging out at the mall with us girls. We took a break at the bookstore. Shopping can wear a little boy out!!
My little Chief!!
Fowler had a great seat for the Championship game...and he didn't pay thousands of dollars for it!!!
